I much prefer a pinned block though, they are more reliable. Clamp style is the best option, and if you are worried about it moving, it's really easy to bed a gas block to the barrel and put a lip to more permanently affix it in place. Barrel already had divots or at least a couple small dents from where the standard block is now.
